Alyssa Romano

Alyssa has been teaching yoga since 2013 and remains a forever student of the world and a curious ever-evolving explorer of her own embodiment. Yoga has helped her heal in ways nothing else has and she believes yoga provides a direct bridge between the external world we are in living and the internal world that is creating it.

At the heart of Alyssa’s practice is a deep commitment to self-connection. She sees yoga as a practice that uncovers what we conceal, while turning our gaze toward the quiet brilliance we carry within. Through mindful movement, we build the strength to witness ourselves more clearly and hold space for deeper awareness.

Alyssa draws inspiration from poetry—especially the works of Mary Oliver—along with nature and the meaningful relationships in her life, most notably her son, Matthew.

Her classes are a blend of soulful alignment, evocative music, and thoughtful poetry. She invites students to connect with their hearts while grounding fully in their bodies, striking a balance between the ethereal and the tangible. Her approach encourages personal exploration, always with the intention of helping each student discover what feels nourishing and true in their own body.

You’ll leave Alyssa’s class with a softer heart, a stronger body —and feeling a whole lot more alive.
