Breath-work, also called pranayama, is the most powerful yogic tool to improve mental and physical health.
More and more scientific studies have proven what yogis have known and practiced for thousands of years. Learning to manage the breath at will can reduce the negative effect of stresses on your physical and emotional body. Improve sleep, reduce pain, increase emotional control, balance both hemispheres of the brain, etc...
In the workshop, Evelyne will skillfully share basic methods, along with more subtle refinements that she has learned and explored through years of studying this topic.
We will practice 5 fundamental yogic breathing techniques, so we can understand when and how to use them.
Continuing education credits (Yoga Alliance approved) are available for this workshop.
