Ariadne is a 500 hour certified Kripalu yoga teacher and 300 hour TCTSY-F (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator) with extensive training and work experience in Massage Therapy and Occupational Therapy. A yoga teacher since 2003, Ariadne also completed training and certification in Kripalu Yoga in the Schools, Pre/Postnatal Yoga and Massage Therapy and Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra. Ariadne offers a skillful, empowering, heart centered practice consisting of yoga postures, breathwork and meditation designed to cultivate presence, personal inquiry and nonjudgmental self- awareness. Central to each practice is the invitation to choose, moment to moment, the depth and direction of one’s yoga practice.
This choice driven approach to her practice empowers participants to observe their present moment experience with steadiness and to possibly ride the waves of their life with an evolving sense of compassion, ease and grace. She believes the practice of yoga awakens the compassionate intelligence of the body-mind- heart- and spirit thereby guiding us towards a more awakened and empowered engagement with life.
